Green Design Contest Winners

This contest is initiated by Rima Ammar the Chair of the Art & Design department at MUBS in collaboration with our partners: Go Green Recycle, SPNL and AFDC.

This Contest aims at promote social responsibility among the youth at a very young age, raise awareness on different ecological issues, drive our youth to become part of the team to achieve the SDGS, and educate them on different social and environmental issues through their creativity.

We believe that Art has the power to evoke emotions and inspire change, so translate your passion for a better world into art and use your unique perspective to illuminate the path towards a more sustainable future.

This is the first year for this contest and the participation and the level of projects submitted was beyond expectations which reflects the importance and the need for such initiatives.

A total of 650 contestants participated in this contest

55 contestants qualified for the second round, the beautiful students' projects displayed in the MEHE.

The students qualified for round 2 granted SDG Ambassador certificates, and 50%scholarships.

All participants granted 40% scholarships.

Total of 20 qualified for the third round (Top 5 for each category), SDG 15 Life on Land, SDG12 Responsible Consumption and Production, SDG13 Climate Action and SDG4 Quality Education.
